My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Off Course by Julie Cook was a fun and refreshing sports romance that stood out from the crowd. If you're looking for a sports romance that is not centered around hockey, this one deserves a spot on your TBR.

Set in the world of competitive skiing and mountaineering, the story follows two driven athletes navigating ambition, attraction, and the challenges that come with chasing big dreams. The unique setting added an extra layer of excitement and adventure that kept me turning the pages.

What I loved:
⛷️ Competitive skiing
🏔️ Mountaineering adventure
❤️ Sports romance
🔥 Great chemistry
🌎 Unique setting
☀️ Perfect seasonal escape, even in summer

As someone who reads a lot of sports romance, I appreciated getting something different from the usual hockey romance lineup. The winter sports backdrop made this feel fresh while still delivering the romance and tension I was looking for.

If you've been searching for a sports romance that goes beyond the rink, add this one to your list.
