My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I love discovering new authors and stories that feel familiar while still giving me something fresh as an avid reader. The Summer Share by Jenn McKinlay delivers all the tropes you expect in a perfect summer romance, but adds enough depth and charm to make it stand out from the crowd.

This is the kind of book you immediately want to recommend to your book club and post about online so more readers can discover it.

Hannah and Simon inherit half of a cottage in North Carolina with one major condition. The cottage cannot be sold until they both live there together for two months. What starts as forced proximity quickly becomes so much more than a typical enemies to lovers story.

The town itself feels like a character, and the side characters bring so much warmth and personality to the story. The found family vibes were absolutely one of my favorite parts and gave the romance an extra emotional layer.

If you love:
• Small town romance
• Enemies to lovers
• Forced proximity
• Opposites attract
• Found family
• Dual POV
• Cozy summer settings
• Medium spice romance

Then this one deserves a spot on your summer reading list. Fun, emotional, romantic, and memorable in all the right ways.
