Goodreads Book Review - Katherine Center THE LOVE HATERS

My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Katherine Center has quickly become one of my favorite authors since I started my book binge experiment. Although I haven't explored her back catalog yet, her recent works—The Bodyguard, Hello Stranger, The Rom-Commers, and now The Love Haters—have all been five-star reads for me. I hope they will be for you too!
What I loved about The Love Haters (keeping this spoiler-free) was how seen I felt while reading this book. The amazing author's note at the end brought the story full circle for me. Katie, Hutch, Rue, and George Bailey jump off the page and into your heart, set in the intriguing world of video production and the Coast Guard. Katie, our heroine, has a past storyline that could even serve as a prequel. The author skillfully shows Katie's growth from this previous relationship as the story begins, and her development throughout the book is one of the high points of this story.
If you're already a fan of Katherine Center, I don't need to convince you to read this amazing story. If you're new to her work and looking for sharp dialogue, captivating side characters, and a compelling story about family and relationships, add this book to your TBR list now! I couldn't put this book down and can't wait for everyone to get their hands on The Love Haters when it publishes on May 20th!
Thank you to Net Galley and St. Martin’s Press for the early opportunity to fall in love with The Love Haters!
